Challenges for EPTT teachers in the development of remote education in pandemic times

Resumo: This research sought to analyze the challenges faced by EPTT teachers in developing classes in the mode of remote teaching in the face of a scenario of a global pandemic caused by Covid-19. The research was characterized as quantitative-qualitative, exploratory and descriptive, started with a bibliographic review and subsequent application of questionnaires to EPT teachers of the disciplines of the basic axis belonging to the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Maranhão, Campus São Luís Monte Castelo, through online data collection tools. The results show that one of the main challenges for EPTT teachers is related to the expansion of the training process in TIDs and their educational methodologies. The challenges in offering remote education to EPTT teachers are diverse and must be overcome in the new reality of post-pandemic education, in order to contribute to the reflection on training, actions and improvement in the quality of teaching and learning.

La investigación se caracterizó como cuantitativa-cualitativa, exploratoria y descriptiva, iniciada con una revisión bibliográfica y posterior aplicación de cuestionarios a profesores de EPT de las asignaturas del eje básico pertenecientes al Instituto Federal de Educación, Ciencia y Tecnología de Maranhão, Campus São Luís Monte Castelo, a través de herramientas de recopilación de datos en línea. Los resultados muestran que uno de los principales desafíos para los docentes de EPTT está relacionado con la ampliación del proceso de formación en TID y sus metodologías educativas. Los desafíos para ofrecer enseñanza a distancia a los docentes de la EPTT son diversos y deben ser superados por la nueva realidad de la educación pospandemia, con el fin de contribuir a la reflexión sobre la formación, las acciones y la mejora de la calidad de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje.Esta pesquisa buscou analisar os desafios enfrentados pelos professores de EPTT em desenvolver aulas na modalidade de ensino remoto diante do cenário de uma pandemia mundial provocada pelo Covid-19. A pesquisa caracterizou-se como quanti-qualitativa, de cunho exploratório e descritivo, iniciada com uma revisão bibliográfica e posterior aplicação de questionários aos professores EPT das disciplinas do eixo básico pertencentes ao Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Maranhão, Campus São Luís Monte Castelo, através de ferramentas de coleta de dados on-line. Os resultados mostram que, um dos principais desafios dos professores da EPTT está relacionado à expansão do processo de formação em TIDs e suas metodologias educacionais.
