Children's work at Family Agriculture: exploration or learning?

Resumo: This study discuss the relationship between labor and education in the Amazonian basin taking into account the child labor exploitation. The Amazonian scope was invetigatesd, discussing child's right to be a child and the theoretical-procedural fundaments that support rural education. The research is part of the Field Improvement Course into Earth’s School Program and uses participative observation, questionnaires to trace student's profile and a research project to identify local realities in wich children and family work altogether. Thus, we affirm that the work carried out in family agriculture is not child labor exploitation, but a socializiation and learning process, a moment to pass on traditional knowledge to children and young people. Among the difficulties found during Rural Education application and improvement in Amazonas state, we highlight: the fragility of social movements in the State, teacher's turnover due to contracting process, nucleation and the introjection of urban values in the rural context. These problems can be deal with the organization of the people living in the forest, the floodplain and the rivers, rescuing the work-education relationship as the main factor in coping with adversity.

Contextualizamos el espacio amazónico, discutimos el derecho del niño a ser un niño y los fundamentos teóricos y metodológicos que apoyan la educación rural. La investigación es parte del Proyecto del Curso de Mejoramiento de la Educación Rural, vinculado al Programa Escola da Terra y utiliza observación participativa, cuestionarios para perfilar a los estudiantes y un proyecto de investigación para identificar las realidades de la comunidad, donde los niños participan en la realización de trabajo familiar Por lo tanto, afirmamos que el trabajo realizado en la agricultura familiar no es la explotación del trabajo infantil, sino un proceso de socialización y aprendizaje, ya que es el momento de transmitir los conocimientos tradicionales a los niños y jóvenes. Las dificultades detectadas para la implementación de la Educación Rural en Amazonas incluyen: la fragilidad de los movimientos sociales en el Estado, la rotación experimentada por los maestros debido a los métodos de contratación, el proceso de nucleación y la introyección de valores urbanos en el contexto rural. Estos problemas se pueden combatir con la organización de las personas que viven en el bosque, en la llanura de inundación y en los ríos, rescatando la relación trabajo / educación como un elemento primordial para enfrentar la adversidad.Discute a relação trabalho e educação no campo Amazônico levando em consideração a questão da exploração do trabalho infantil. Contextualizamos o espaço Amazônico, discutimos o direito da criança em ser criança e os fundamentos teórico-metodológicos que subsidiam a educação do campo. A pesquisa é parte do Projeto do Curso de Aperfeiçoamento Educação do Campo, vinculado ao Programa Escola da Terra e utiliza a observação participativa, questionários para traçar o perfil dos alunos e projeto de pesquisa visando identificar as realidades comunitárias, onde as crianças participam da realização do trabalho em família. Assim, afirmamos que o trabalho exercido na agricultura familiar não é exploração do trabalho infantil, mas um processo socializador e de aprendizagem, pois é o momento de repassar os saberes tradicionais para as crianças e os jovens. As dificuldades detectadas para a implantação da Educação do Campo no Amazonas destacamos: a fragilidade dos movimentos sociais no Estado, a rotatividade por que passam os professores devido as formas de contratação, o processo de nucleação e a introjeção dos valores urbanos no contexto rural.
