Resumo: Like other organizations, Universities and Colleges need new concepts to be developed and put into practice in order to remain active in the face of growing competitiveness. In view of this, it was sought to know if the main units of State University of Rio Grande do Norte (UERN) work the intra-entrepreneur vision and if their managers are using their potential skills to stimulate and conduct an enterprise internally, to this end. The present research aims to analyze the profile, in the intra-entrepreneur aspect, of the coordinators/managers of the UERN and if they are making the best use of the potential of their employees. In view of this, the existence of functional and structural limitations at IES has been verified.

En vista de ello, se trató de saber si las principales unidades de la UERN trabajan con la visión intraempresarial y si sus gerentes están utilizando sus potenciales habilidades para estimular y dirigir una empresa internamente, con este fin. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar el perfil, en el aspecto intra-empresarial, de los coordinadores/gerentes de la UERN y si están haciendo el mejor uso del potencial de sus empleados. En vista de ello, se ha verificado la existencia de limitaciones funcionales y estructurales en el IES.Assim como as demais organizações, as Instituições de Ensino Superior (IES) necessitam que novos conceitos sejam desenvolvidos e postos em prática para que elas se mantenham ativas diante da crescente competitividade. Diante disso, buscou-se saber se as principais unidades da Universidade Estadual do Rio Grande do Norte (UERN) trabalham a visão intraempreendedora e se os seus gestores estão utilizando suas potenciais habilidades de estimular e conduzir um empreendimento internamente, neste fim. O presente trabalho objetiva analisar como está o perfil, no aspecto intraempreendedor, dos coordenadores/gestores da UERN e se estes estão aproveitando, da melhor forma, o potencial dos seus colaboradores.
