Resumo: | This paper aims to present conceptual characteristics of virtual learning environments and their contributions to the mediation and monitoring of the Supervised Curricular Internship within the distance modality. In order to do so, through a bibliographic review, it was verified that virtual learning environments are considered important locus in the EAD mediation, so that it harmonizes the interaction between the subjects involved in the process and in the interactivity with the available resources, adding flexibility Of time, autonomy, breaking geographical limitations. As a consequence, the use of virtual environments in the monitoring of Supervised Internship is an open field of possibilities and can bring several benefits for students and tutors and to mediate this relationship. Such potentialities are not generated without the counterpart of challenges to be overcome to be realized, especially the adequate preparation of tutors for the correct and effective use of the available applications. |

Para ello, a través de la realización de una revisión bibliográfica se constató que los ambientes virtuales de aprendizaje son considerados importantes locus en la mediación EaD, de modo que armoniza la interacción entre los sujetos involucrados en el proceso y en la interactividad con los recursos disponibles, agregando flexibilidad de horario, autonomía, rompiendo limitaciones geográficas. Como consecuencia, la utilización de los ambientes virtuales en el seguimiento de la Etapa Curricular Supervisada es un campo abierto de posibilidades y puede traer diversos beneficios para estudiantes y tutores y para la mediación de esta relación. Tales potencialidades no se generan sin la contrapartida de desafíos a ser superados para que se concreten, especialmente la adecuada preparación de tutores para el uso correcto y efectivo de las aplicaciones disponibles.Este trabalho tem por objetivo apresentar características conceituais dos ambientes virtuais de aprendizagem e suas contribuições para a mediação e acompanhamento do Estágio Curricular Supervisionado dentro da modalidade a distância. Para tanto, por meio da realização de uma revisão bibliográfica constatou-se que os ambientes virtuais de aprendizagem são considerados importantes locús na mediação EaD, de modo que harmoniza a interação entre os sujeitos envolvidos no processo e na interatividade com os recursos disponíveis, agregando flexibilidade de horário, autonomia, rompendo limitações geográficas. Como consequência, a utilização dos ambientes virtuais no acompanhamento do Estágio Curricular Supervisionado é um campo aberto de possibilidades e pode trazer diversos benefícios para estudantes e tutores e para a mediação desta relação.
