The Pedagogy of skills in the Sergipe curriculum of New High School

Resumo: In this article, we seek to analyze and understand the theoretical bases that guide the curriculum reform of the New High School (NEM), as well as the Sergipe Curriculum (CS) of High School (EM). The study has a qualitative nature, of an exploratory bibliographic nature. Through the documental analysis of the BNCC and the CS of the EM, we raised reflections on the context of the Brazilian NEM, which, despite being considered innovative, is anchored in discussions that go back to past times. The analysis revealed a market logic underlying Sergipe's curricular device, as the propositions mainly aim to improve proficiency in assessment exams and the development of skills to enter the job market. In addition, an invisibility of socioeconomic, cultural and environmental diversity in the proposed skills and competences was evidenced. The founding curriculum theory of Sergipe's curriculum is the traditional one. In place of Pedagogy of Competencies, in which the propositions of Sergipe's curricular device are anchored, we propose that educators adopt the Pedagogy of Complexity to subvert the neoliberal logic imposed by reformist changes.

El estudio tiene un carácter cualitativo, de carácter exploratorio bibliográfico. A través del análisis documental del BNCC y del CS de la EM, planteamos reflexiones sobre el contexto de la NEM brasileña, que, a pesar de ser considerada innovadora, está anclada en discusiones que se remontan a tiempos pasados. El análisis reveló una lógica de mercado que subyace en el dispositivo curricular de Sergipe, ya que las propuestas apuntan principalmente a mejorar la competencia en los exámenes de evaluación y el desarrollo de habilidades para insertarse en el mercado de trabajo. Además, se evidenció una invisibilización de la diversidad socioeconómica, cultural y ambiental en las habilidades y competencias propuestas. La teoría curricular fundacional del currículo de Sergipe es la tradicional. En lugar de la Pedagogía de las Competencias, en la que se anclan las proposiciones del dispositivo curricular de Sergipe, proponemos que los educadores adopten la Pedagogía de la Complejidad para subvertir la lógica neoliberal impuesta por los cambios reformistas.No presente artigo, buscamos analisar e compreender as bases teóricas que pautam a reforma curricular do Novo Ensino Médio (NEM), bem como do Currículo de Sergipe (CS) do Ensino Médio (EM). O estudo tem cunho qualitativo, de natureza exploratória bibliográfica. Por meio da análise documental da BNCC e do CS do EM, suscitamos reflexões sobre o contexto do NEM brasileiro, que apesar de ser apontado como inovador, está ancorado em discussões que remontam a tempos passados. A análise revelou uma lógica mercadológica subjacente ao dispositivo curricular sergipano, pois as proposituras objetivam principalmente a melhora da proficiência em exames de avaliação e o desenvolvimento de aptidões para ingressarem no mercado de trabalho. Além disso, evidenciou-se uma invisibilização da diversidade socioeconômica, cultural e ambiental nas habilidades e competências propostas. A teoria curricular fundante do currículo sergipano é a tradicional.
