Resumo: The research entitled 'the challenges of literacy teachers in the 1st cycle of Elementary Education: visible implications in the teaching-learning process' aims to investigate, with teachers, what are the challenges that the literacy teachers of a public school in Pontes and Lacerda have been facing when working with students in the 1st cycle of Elementary Education. It is a qualitative research, for the data collected the semi-structured questionnaire was used as an instrument. They were analyzed using the content analysis method (Bardin, 2016). To this end, The work brought as a result the need for the family to be concerned and participate more in the school life of their children, as well as relevant data on the quality of the continuing education offered to teachers.

To this end, The work brought as a result the need for the family to be concerned and participate more in the school life of their children, as well as relevant data on the quality of the continuing education offered to teachers.  La investigación titulada 'Los desafíos de los maestros de alfabetización en el 1er ciclo de Educación Primaria: implicaciones visibles en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje' tiene como objetivo investigar, con los maestros, cuáles son los desafíos que han enfrentado los maestros de alfabetización de una escuela pública en Pontes y Lacerda. cuando se trabaja con estudiantes en el primer ciclo de educación primaria. Es una investigación cualitativa, para los datos recopilados se utilizó el cuestionario semiestructurado como instrumento. Se analizaron utilizando el método de análisis de contenido (Bardin, 2016). Con este fin, el trabajo trajo como resultado la necesidad de que la familia se preocupe y participe más en la vida escolar de sus hijos, además de proporcionar datos relevantes sobre la calidad de la educación contínua ofrecida a los maestros.A pesquisa intitulada ‘os desafios dos alfabetizadores do I ciclo do Ensino Fundamental: implicações visíveis no processo de ensino-aprendizagem’ têm como objetivo, investigar, com professores quais são os desafios que os alfabetizadores de uma escola pública municipal de Pontes e Lacerda vêm enfrentados ao trabalhar com os alunos do I ciclo do Ensino Fundamental. É uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, para os dados coletados foi utilizado como instrumento o questionário semiestruturado. Foram analisados pelo método da análise do conteúdo (Bardin, 2016).
