Nutritional education at school: literature review

Resumo: | Food and Nutrition Education is a mechanism to promote health through the construction of good eating habits, the school has been considered important for the development of this strategy. Therefore, the present study aimed to review the Brazilian scientific production on EAN interventions, and to analyze the effects of interventions in food and nutrition education in the school environment in Brazil, between the period 2014 to 2020. The sample of this review consisted of if initially of 31 articles that addressed the descriptors, and after the exclusion criteria that were publications of thesis, dissertation, monograph and articles that did not adhere to the theme, 10 articles remained that were addressed in this article. The chosen studies were characterized in the results according to the author, year, title, objective, type of study and results. Therefore, nutritional education addressed at school proved to be effective as a way to motivate students to change their diet, aiming to promote healthier eating habits for disease control. |

Por lo tanto, el presente estudio tuvo como objetivo revisar la producción científica brasileña sobre intervenciones EAN, y analizar los efectos de las intervenciones en educación alimentaria y nutricional en el ambiente escolar en Brasil, entre el período 2014 a 2020. La muestra de esta revisión consistió en si inicialmente de 31 artículos que abordaron los descriptores, y luego de los criterios de exclusión que fueron publicaciones de tesis, disertaciones, monografías y artículos que no se apegaron a la temática, quedaron 10 artículos que fueron abordados en este artículo. Los estudios elegidos se caracterizaron en los resultados según el autor, año, título, objetivo, tipo de estudio y resultados. Por tanto, la educación nutricional dirigida en la escuela demostró ser eficaz como una forma de motivar a los estudiantes a cambiar su dieta, con el objetivo de promover hábitos alimentarios más saludables para el control de enfermedades.A Educação Alimentar e Nutricional é um mecanismo de promoção da saúde através da construção de bons hábitos alimentares, e a escola tem sido considerada importante para o desenvolvimento dessa estratégia. Sendo assim, o presente estudo teve como objetivo revisar a produção científica brasileira sobre intervenções da EAN e analisar os efeitos das intervenções em educação alimentar e nutricional no ambiente escolar no Brasil, entre o período de 2014 a 2020. A amostra desta revisão foi constituída inicialmente de 31 artigos que abordavam os descritores e após os critérios de exclusão que foram publicações de tese, dissertação, monografia e artigos que não tinham aderência à temática, restaram 10 artigos que foram abordados no presente trabalho. Os estudos escolhidos foram caracterizados nos resultados conforme o autor, ano, título, objetivo, tipo de estudo e resultados.
