Resumo: The article discusses public policies aimed at confronting bullying at school, taking as its starting point Law n. 13,185/2015. It is noteworthy that the Federal Constitution of 1988 and the Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education (LDB 9394/1996) already guarantee the integrality of students and the Child and Adolescent Statute (ECA) that protects them as subjects of specific rights. Bullying and its consequences bring harmful consequences to the socio-emotional and educational development of students. The State recognizes bullying as symbolic and psychological violence, which led it to promote specific legislation to deal with this violent act in the school environment. The article is based on official legislation and authors who discuss bullying in the school context. It starts from the idea that the practice of bullying is symbolic and psychological violence and that this negatively impacts the lives of school subjects.

Cabe mencionar que la Constitución Federal de 1988 y la Ley de Directrices y Bases de la Educación Nacional (LDB 9.394/1996) ya garantizan la integralidad de los estudiantes, y el Estatuto de la Niñez y la Adolescencia (ECA) que los ampara como sujetos de derecho. derechos específicos. El bullying y sus consecuencias traen consecuencias nocivas para el desarrollo socioemocional y educativo de los estudiantes. El Estado reconoce el bullying como violencia simbólica y psicológica, lo que hizo que impulsara una legislación específica para enfrentar este acto violento en el ámbito escolar. El desarrollo del artículo parte de la legislación oficial y de autores que discuten el bullying en el contexto escolar. Se parte de la idea de que la práctica del bullying es violencia simbólica y psicológica y que ésta repercute negativamente en la vida de los sujetos escolares.O artigo discute as políticas públicas voltadas para o enfrentamento ao bullying na escola, tendo como ponto de partida a Lei n. 13.185/2015. Vale ressaltar que a Constituição Federal de 1988 e a Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional (LDB 9.394/1996) já garantem a integralidade dos educandos e, o Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente (ECA) que os protegem como sujeitos de direitos específicos. O bullying e seus desdobramentos trazem consequências nocivas ao desenvolvimento socioemocional e educativo dos educandos. O Estado reconhece o bullying como violência simbólica e psicológica, o que fez com que promovesse legislação específica para o trato desse ato violento no ambiente escolar. O desenvolvimento do artigo parte da legislação oficial e de autores que discutem o bullying no contexto escolar.
