Interdisciplinarity in the teaching of Mathematics in Basic Education

Resumo: | This article is an integrative review research of an exploratory nature, which aims to gather and analyze studies on interdisciplinary teaching in the discipline of mathematics, in addition to revealing the perspective of teachers and researchers of basic education in relation to interdisciplinarity and presenting the main difficulties surrounding its practice. It is considered that the mathematics curriculum component causes disinterest or is considered difficult by many students. Therefore, it is necessary to think of solutions as interdisciplinary strategies in classes. With this, we sought to reveal whether it is possible to develop interdisciplinary classes in the discipline of mathematics, contributing to learning in basic education. For this, a survey of relevant works that deal with interdisciplinarity and teaching in the area was carried out. As this is an exploratory research, which intends to approach knowledge obtained by other authors on the subject, publications from the last 7 years were sought on the CAPES and Google Scholar platforms. This research started from the combination of the words “interdisciplinarity”, “mathematics”, “teaching” and “basic education”. Of this total, 10 articles were selected that presented content related to the research objectives, which were analyzed and arranged in tables for a better understanding. |

Se considera que el componente curricular de matemáticas genera desinterés o es considerado difícil por muchos estudiantes. Por lo tanto, es necesario pensar en las soluciones como estrategias interdisciplinarias en las clases. Con esto, buscamos revelar si es posible desarrollar clases interdisciplinarias en la disciplina de las matemáticas, contribuyendo al aprendizaje en la educación básica. Para ello, se realizó un relevamiento de trabajos relevantes que aborden la interdisciplinariedad y la docencia en el área. Por tratarse de una investigación exploratoria, que pretende acercarse al conocimiento obtenido por otros autores sobre el tema, se buscaron publicaciones de los últimos 7 años en las plataformas CAPES y Google Scholar. Esta investigación partió de la combinación de las palabras “interdisciplinariedad”, “matemáticas”, “enseñanza” y “educación básica”. De este total, se seleccionaron 10 artículos que presentaban contenido relacionado con los objetivos de la investigación, los cuales fueron analizados y ordenados en tablas para una mejor comprensión.O presente artigo se trata de uma pesquisa do tipo revisão integrativa de caráter exploratório, que objetiva reunir e analisar estudos sobre o ensino interdisciplinar na disciplina de matemática, além de revelar a perspectiva dos docentes e pesquisadores da educação básica com relação à interdisciplinaridade e apresentar as principais dificuldades que envolvem sua prática. Considera-se que o componente curricular matemática causa desinteresse ou é considerado difícil por muitos alunos. Por isso, é necessário pensar em soluções como estratégias interdisciplinares nas aulas. Com isso, procurou-se aqui revelar se é possível desenvolver aulas de caráter interdisciplinar na disciplina de matemática, contribuindo com o aprendizado na educação básica. Para isso, realizou-se um levantamento de trabalhos relevantes que tratam acerca de interdisciplinaridade e ensino na área. Por se tratar de uma pesquisa de caráter exploratório, que possui a intenção de abordar conhecimentos obtidos por outros autores acerca da temática, buscou-se publicações dos últimos 7 anos nas plataformas CAPES e Google Acadêmico. Tal pesquisa partiu da combinação das palavras “interdisciplinaridade”, “matemática”, “ensino” e “educação básica”.
