The Academic Leagues of Faculty of Dentistry at UFMG: beyond the curriculum

Resumo: | Objective: To describe the path of the Faculty of Dentistry at Federal University of Minas Gerais (FAO-UFMG) in the creation, regulation, accreditation and maintenance of the Academic Leagues of the unit. Methodology: publications and actions of Academic Leagues of the FAO-UFMG from the first half of 2018 to February 2021 were analyzed, correlating the data to the history of creation of these leagues. Results: participation in scientific events, institutional videos, Instagram posts for the community, dialogued and magisterial expository classes open to the academic community were found. Conclusion: The dialogical relationship with society can only be observed in a moment. The COVID 19 pandemic imposed the issue of remote communication on the activities of the issue of remote communication on the activities of the Leagues, which may have jeopardized their performance. The Academic Leagues of FAO_UFMG, despite being incipient, demonstrate the ability to develop in the binding students, the capacity for self-management, taking advantage of the pro-activity, interest in learning and leadership on the part of the institution’s student body. |

Metodología: se analizaron las publicaciones y acciones de las Ligas Académicas de FAO-UFMG desde el primer semestre de 2018 hasta febrero de 2021, correlacionando los datos con la historia de creación de estas ligas. Resultados: se encontró participación em eventos científicos, vídeos institucionales, publicaciones de Instagram para la comunidad, clases expositivas dialogadas y magistrales abiertas a la comunidad académica. Conclusión: la relación dialógica con la sociedad solo se puede observar em un momento. La pandemia de COVID 19 impuso el tema de la comunicación remota em las actividades de las Ligas, lo que pudo Haber perjudicado su desempeño. Las Ligas Académicas de La FAO-UFMG, a pesar de ser incipientes, demuestran la capacidad de desarrollar em los estudiantes vinculantes, la capacidad de autogestión, aprovechando la proactividad, el interés por el aprendizaje y el liderazgo por parte del alumnado de la institución.Objetivo: Descrever o percurso da Faculdade de Odontologia da UFMG na criação, regulamentação, creditação e manutenção das Ligas Acadêmicas da unidade. Metodologia: Foram analisadas as publicações e ações das Ligas Acadêmicas da Faculdade de Odontologia da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (FAO-UFMG) do primeiro semestre de 2018 até fevereiro de 2021, correlacionando os dados ao histórico de criação dessas ligas. Resultados: Foram encontradas participações em eventos científicos, vídeos institucionais, postagens em Instagram para a comunidade, aulas expositivas dialogadas e magistrais abertas à comunidade acadêmica. Conclusão: A relação dialógica com a sociedade só pode ser observada em um momento. A pandemia do COVID 19 impôs às atividades das Ligas a questão da comunicação remota, o que pode ter prejudicado a sua atuação.
