Students 'conceptions about the importance of physics discipline for their professional training as an agricultural technician

Resumo: | The present investigation identified the conceptions of Integrated High School students about their performance in the subject of Physics and how they understand the relationship between this subject and the Technical Course in Agricultural and High School at the Federal Institute of Pernambuco (IFPE) - Campus Barreiros. The investigation has a qualitative approach and had the participation of students from the 2nd and 3rd year of high school. A diagnostic questionnaire with three essay questions was applied to these students, in order to answer the central objective of this investigation. The method of analysis for this investigation was Bardin's Content Analysis (2016). The results indicate that more than 80% of the interviewees are unable to identify the relationships that exist between the physical contents learned in basic training with those associated with technical training. Through the results, we understand that the curriculum of the Technical Course in Agriculture is rethought in order to promote a dialogue between the disciplines. It is of fundamental importance that what students learn in basic training also makes sense in technical training. |

A investigação tem um enfoque cualitativo e contido com a participação de estudiantes de 2º e 3º ano de secundária do Instituto Federal de Pernambuco (IFPE) - Campus Barreiros. A estos estudiantes se les aplicó un cuestionario de diagnóstico, que contenía tres preguntas de desarrollo, con el fin de dar respuesta al objetivo central de esta investigación. El corpus empírico of this investigación se analizó a través de Analisis de contenido de Bardin (2016). Entre os principais resultados encontrados, sumados a las respuestas obtenidas mediante el análise de las tres preguntas formuladas a los estudiantes, se identificó que más del 80% de los entrevistados sem logra identificar qué relaciones existen entre los contenidos físicos aprendidos en la formación básica con los asociados entrenamiento técnico. A través de estos resultados, se entiende como fundamental que o plano de estudos do Curso Técnico en Agricultura sea repensado con el fin de promover um diálogo entre as disciplinas, ya que es de fundamental importancia que los estudiantes aprendem en educación básica también tenga sentido en formación técnica.A presente investigação buscou identificar quais são as concepções dos estudantes do Ensino Médio Integrado sobre os seus desempenhos na disciplina de Física e como eles compreendem em relação entre essa disciplina e o curso Técnico em Agropecuária. A investigação possui abordagem qualitativa e com a participação de estudantes do 2º e 3º ano do Ensino Médio do Instituto Federal de Pernambuco (IFPE) - Campus Barreiros. Aplicou-se a esses estudantes um questionário diagnóstico que contém as três questões dissertativas, com vistas a uma resposta ao objetivo central desta investigação. Ó corpusempírico desta investigação foi analisado através da Análise de Conteúdo de Bardin (2016). Dentre os principais resultados encontrados, somando-se às respostas correspondentes através da análise dos três questionamentos feitos aos estudantes, identificou-se que mais de 80% dos entrevistados não consegue identificar quais as relações existentes entre os alunos aprendidos na formação básica com aqueles associados à formação técnica.
