Resumo: The present article is a result of the research Teaching in the Degree: Social Representations in Construction developed at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte - UFRN that aimed to access the social representations of undergraduate students about teaching, and to find what relationships they did with their identity teacher construction. Here we make a cut of the material collected from semistructured interviews (SZYMANSKI, 2002) in order to better discuss the theoretical and methodological aspects of the teacher identities forged by the undergraduate students with the use of their representations about teaching. This work is in the field of studies on social representations (MOSCOVICI, 2012) and professional identity (DUBAR, 1997) and discusses how the references used by graduates to become teachers are objects created from what was experienced by the individual in basic education also the new concepts offered by graduation.

(SZYMANSKI, 2002) con el objetivo de mejor discutir los aspectos teórico-metodológicos de las identidades docentes forjadas por licenciandos con el uso de sus representaciones sobre el enseñar. Este trabajo se sitúa en el campo de los estudios sobre representaciones sociales (MOSCOVICI, 2012) e identidad profesional (DUBAR, 1997) y discute cómo las referencias usadas por los licenciados para constituirse profesores son objetos creados a partir de lo que fue vivido por el individuo en la educación básica más los nuevos conceptos ofrecidos por la graduación.O Presente artigo é fruto da pesquisa Docência na Licenciatura: Representações Sociais em Construção desenvolvida na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte - UFRN que objetivava acessar as representações dos estudantes de licenciatura sobre o ensinar, e encontrar que relações essas faziam com sua construção identitária docente. Aqui é feito um recorte do material recolhido a partir de entrevistas semiestruturadas (SZYMANSKI, 2002) com objetivo de melhor discutir os aspectos teórico-metodológicos das identidades docentes forjadas por licenciandos com o uso de suas representações sobre o ensinar.
