EAD implementation process in the brazilian context: a look through pedagogy

Resumo: Objective: to describe in the literature the process of implementing distance learning in the Brazilian context with a view through pedagogy. Method: This is a qualitative narrative review study, appropriate to discuss the state of the art of a given subject. The documents that composed it were retrieved through the Portal of Periodicals of Capes and ministerial documents that deal with the elapsed theme. Results: The history of distance learning in Brazil has always been linked to professional training, enabling people to perform certain activities or master certain skills, always motivated by commercial issues. The training of teachers regarding continuing and permanent education, historically in the Brazilian reality, was linked to distance education. Conclusion: With regard to pedagogy today it represents the largest course in students in this modality. It is believed that the pedagogy course is so widespread in this mold because it is an undergraduate degree that does not require large technological investments for its implementation and dissemination, as it is a cohesive profession with a vast area of ​​activity and with great possibility of absorbing the job market.

Método: Se trata de un estudio cualitativo de revisión narrativa, apropiado para discutir el estado del arte de un tema determinado. Los documentos que la componían fueron recuperados a través del Portal de Periódicos da Capes y documentos ministeriales que tratan del tema transcurrido. Resultados: La historia de la educación a distancia en Brasil siempre estuvo imbricada a la formación profesional, capacitando a las personas para realizar ciertas actividades o dominar ciertas competencias, siempre motivadas por cuestiones comerciales. La formación de profesores en educación continua y permanente, históricamente en la realidad brasileña, estuvo asociada a la educación a distancia. Conclusión: Con respecto a la pedagogía hoy, representa la graduación con más estudiantes en esta modalidad. Se cree que la pedagogía sea tan amplia por tratarse de una graduación que no necesita grandes inversiones tecnológicas para su implementación y expansión por ser una profisión coesa con una vasta área de actuación y gran posibilidad de absorción del mercado de trabajo.Objetivo: descrever perante a literatura o processo de implementação da EAD no contexto brasileiro com olhar através da pedagogia. Método: Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo de revisão narrativa, apropriada para discutir o estado da arte de um determinado assunto. Os documentos que o compuseram foram recuperados através do Portal de Periódicos da Capes e documentos ministeriais que versam sobre a temática transcorrida. Resultados: A história da EAD no Brasil esteve sempre atrelada à formação profissional, capacitando pessoas ao exercício de certas atividades ou ao domínio de determinadas habilidades, sempre motivadas por questões mercantis. A formação de professores no que tange à educação continuada e permanente, historicamente na realidade brasileira foi vinculada à educação a distância. Conclusão: No que se refere à pedagogia hoje, ela representa o maior curso em alunos nesta modalidade.
