Heritage and community. Perspectives on Chilean heritage education (1970- 2015)

Resumo: Despite being denounced in the first international agreements on monuments, the relationship between heritage and community has become more important in the last few years. This is a bond that has encouraged the development of heritage education initiatives task; despite having been described above, it has become part of a very current agenda. In order to have a look at the prospects that took the heritage education in Chile, this paper installs the discussion of changes in equity notion as meant in part, incorporating the community as an important actor in the patrimonialization process. In the light of international agreements, especially the second part examines the international debate on heritage education, since the interest in creating awareness on the part of States. In a third part, it reviewed the way the community has increased its participation in heritage processes in Chile, in order to raise some challenges. Challenges become especially significant when one considers that, despite the motivation and interest have been raised on the issue, it is a relatively new field.

Se trata de un vínculo que ha incentivado el desarrollo de iniciativas de educación patrimonial, tarea que pese a haber sido esbozada tempranamente, ha pasado a ser parte de una agenda muy vigente. Con el fin de dar una mirada a las perspectivas que ha tomado la educación patrimonial en Chile, este trabajo instala la discusión sobre los cambios en la noción de patrimonio en tanto significó, en parte, la incorporación de la comunidad como importante actor en los procesos de patrimonialización. A la luz, principalmente, de acuerdos internacionales, la segunda parte examina el debate internacional en materia de educación patrimonial desde el interés de crear consiciencia por parte de los Estados. En un tercer apartado,se revisa la manera en la que la comunidad ha incrementado su participación en procesos de patrimonialización en Chile, con el fin de plantear algunos desafíos. Desafíos que se hacen especialmente significativos si se considera que, pese a la motivación e interés que se ha planteado en relación al tema, se trata de un campo relativamente nuevo.Apesar de ser denunciada nos primeiros acordos internacionais sobre monumentos, a relação entre o patrimônio e comunidade tornou-se mais importante nos últimos anos. Este é um vínculo que tem incentivado o desenvolvimento de iniciativas de educação patrimonial, tarefa apesar de ter sido descrita anteriormente, tornou-se parte de uma agenda muito atual. A fim de ter um olhar para as perspectivas de que tomou a educação patrimonial no Chile, este trabalho instala a discussão sobre mudanças na noção de patrimônio como significou, em parte, incorporando a comunidade como um importante ator no processo de patrimonialização. À luz de acordos internacionais, principalmente, a segunda parte examina o debate internacional sobre educação patrimonial desde o interesse em criar consiciencia por parte dos Estados. Em uma terceira parte, é revisada a maneira pela qual a comunidade tem aumentado a sua participação nos processos de patrimonialização no Chile, a fim de levantar alguns desafios.
