Referenciation and hyperstructure in scientific popularization texts for children

Resumo: | The article deals with the construction of discourse objects in scientific popularization reports for children and aims to examine the production of meanings about science themes in the anaphoric registrations which start from daily themes to culminate in specialized expressions. Semantic-pragmatic aspects of the anaphora operated by the text producer in order to inform/explain and captivate the child reader are observed. The corpus is composed by seven reports published in the magazine Ciência Hoje das Crianças, which were selected by being a hyperstructure. The principles relative to the communication contract of science médiatisation postulated by Charaudeau (2008b), the notions of schematization and cultural pre-constructs (GRIZE, 1990, 1996), the notion of hyperstructure (ADAM & LUGRIN, 2000; 2006) and the studies about discursive referenciation (MONDADA, 2002) are the theoretical bases of this study. The recurrence in the engendering of intelligible schemes for the child reader, via co-construction of the anaphora - which, categorized in the hyperestructure instances, reveal mise en scène strategies -, was verified. |

El artículo trata sobre la construcción de objetos de discurso en reportajes de divulgación científica dirigidos a los niños y tiene como objetivo examinar la producción de sentidos sobre temas de la ciencia en las inscripciones anafóricas que parten de términos del cotidiano y desembocan en expresiones especializadas. Se observan aspectos semántico-pragmáticos de las anáforas accionadas por el productor textual para informar/explicar y captar a su lector infantil. El corpus es formado de siete reportajes de la revista Ciência Hoje das Crianças, seleccionadas porque constituyen una hiperestructura. Los postulados referentes al contrato de comunicación de la mediatización de la ciencia de Charaudeau (2008b), las nociones de esquematización y preconstruidos culturales (GRIZE, 1990, 1996), la noción de hiperestructura (ADAM; LUGRIN, 2000, 2006) y los estudios de referenciación discursiva (MONDADA, 2002) son los aportes teóricos de este estudio. Se verificó la recurrencia en el engendramiento de esquemas inteligibles para el lector infantil, vía coconstrucción de las anáforas, que, categorizadas en las instancias de la hiperestructura, revelan estrategias de actuación. O artigo trata da construção de objetos de discurso em reportagens de divulgação científica dirigidas às crianças e tem como objetivo examinar a produção de sentidos sobre temas da ciência nas inscrições anafóricas que partem de termos do cotidiano e desembocam em expressões especializadas. Observam-se aspectos semântico-pragmáticos das anáforas acionadas pelo produtor textual para informar/explicar e captar seu leitor infantil. O corpus é formado de sete reportagens da revista Ciência Hoje das Crianças, selecionadas por constituírem uma hiperestrutura.
