MATHEMATICS AND LUDICITY: POSSIBLE PATHWAYS IN THE LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT PROCESS OF STUDENTS INSERTED IN THE INITIAL YEARS OF FUNDAMENTAL EDUCATION

Resumo: This study brings considerations from elementary school instructors and students about the playfulness relevance as a potentiating learning tool to the math field. It is about an exploratory study, based in the conception of the social/historical learning and developing perspective of Vigotski, who objected to analyze if the playfulness is inserted on the instructors pedagogical praxis and their respective opinions about the use of the playfulness specifically on the math field. As for the students, it has been sought to understand their conceptions referring the math learning: Their opinion and expectative about the playfulness insertion to this field. In this study, it has been obtained significant results, which corroborate the playfulness relevance as facilitator learning for the math field.

Se trata de un estudio exploratorio, basado en la concepción de aprendizaje y desarrollo de la perspectiva socio-histórica de Vigotski, que objetivó analizar si la ludicidad está inserta en la praxis pedagógica de los docentes y sus respectivas opiniones sobre el uso del lúdico específicamente en el área de las matemáticas. En cuanto a los discentes, se buscó comprender sus concepciones referentes al "aprender matemáticas": sus opiniones y expectativas sobre la inserción de la ludicidad a esta disciplina. En ese camino se obtenida resultados significativos, que corroboran la relevancia de la ludicidad como facilitadora del aprendizaje de la disciplina matemática.Este estudo traz considerações de docentes e discentes dos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental acerca da relevância da ludicidade como uma ferramenta potencializadora da aprendizagem na área da matemática. Trata-se de um estudo exploratório, embasado na concepção de aprendizagem e desenvolvimento da perspectiva sócio-histórica de Vigotski, que objetivou analisar se a ludicidade está inserida na práxis pedagógica dos docentes e suas respectivas opiniões sobre o uso do lúdico especificamente na área da matemática. Quanto aos discentes, buscou-se compreender suas concepções referentes ao “aprender matemática”: suas opiniões e expectativas sobre a inserção da ludicidade a esta disciplina.
