Resumo: The work aims to analyze the contribution of games and games for the child's development. The investigated content made it possible to deal with several points related to the long path that education has traveled and as great achievements generated through a mutual work between families, the government and several authors and philosophers who contributed to the demystification of social / educational models that previously did not it covered laws and did not contemplate education as it is seen today. The work was possible with the use of bibliographic study in its foundation, that is, it had books, articles, magazines and related materials.

O conteúdo investigado possibilitou tratar de diversos pontos referentes ao longo caminho que a educação já percorreu e as grandes conquistas geradas através de um trabalho mútuo entre familias, o poder público e diversos autores e filósofos que contribuiram na dismistificação dos modelos socio/educacionais que antigamente não abrangea leis e não contemplava a educação como ela é vista nos dias atuais.
