THE SOCIAL SPORTS PROJECT PLAYS AURORA FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF SCHOOL CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

Resumo: Abstract: Sport, together with other interventions, has proven to be a very important tool, helping and showing young people in social vulnerability a perspective of the future with countless possibilities. (CASTRO; SOUZA, 2011). This study aimed to identify the importance of the Play Aurora Social Sports Project for children and families after their participation in the project. The qualitative approach research used a narrative interview, in which 6 children who attended the Joga Aurora Project and their respective families, selected for convenience, participated in the study. From the analysis categories “Children's experiences with the project”, “Family members' perceptions about the project” we can identify the importance that the social sports project had for them, positively impacting their lives and exerting influence beyond their participation.

Este estudio tuvo como objetivo identificar la importancia del Proyecto Joga Aurora para los niños después de su participación en él proyecto y sus famílias. La investigación, con enfoque cualitativo, utilizó la entrevista narrativa, en la que participaron seis niños que asistieron al Proyecto Joga Aurora y sus respectivas familias, seleccionados por conveniencia. A partir de las categorías de análisis “Experiencias de los niños con el proyecto” y “Percepciones de los familiares sobre el proyecto” podemos identificar la importancia que tuvo el proyecto sociodeportivo para los niños y sus familias, impactando positivamente en sus vidas y ejerciendo influencia más allá de su participación.Resumo: O esporte, aliado a outras intervenções, tem se apresentado uma ferramenta de grande importância, auxiliando e mostrando para os jovens em vulnerabilidade social uma perspectiva de futuro com inúmeras possibilidades (CASTRO; SOUZA, 2011). Este estudo teve por objetivo identificar a importância do Projeto Joga Aurora para as crianças e suas famílias finda a participação. A pesquisa, de abordagem qualitativa, utilizou a entrevista narrativa, da qual participaram seis crianças que frequentaram o Projeto Joga Aurora e seus respectivos familiares, selecionados por conveniência.
