This paper aims to present a teaching-learning proposal for the use of the Writer text editor in the education of youth and adult education (EJA), where its purpose is to analyze the possibilities such as educational technologies and information and communication technology ( ICTs), can contribute to the performance of these students in this teaching modality, the work also comes to analyze the problems faced through so many challenges in their educational process. With this current scenario of the computerized era where technology is present in all areas and who does not use it, as technological resources are considered to be digital illiterates. Therefore, in this work it was sought through a bibliographic research to analyze that it is of great value, for these people with little knowledge, to learn the Writer resource so that, at the very least, they are no longer digital illiterates. Therefore, this proposal comes to show possibilities of using the Writer tool, in this process in the teaching-learning scope, enabling Informatics as a technological challenge in the teaching of young people and adults. The expected results and that this proposal will contribute to the educators and facilitate the students' learning process, where they can achieve autonomy and develop their skills to develop basic activities on a computer.
