Resumo: | Contemporary Dance Techniques are, currently, a mixture of influences and experiences of the educators. The approaches to movement are plural, although all of them reflecting the principles of those who boosted the rise of contemporary dance. The evolution of contemporary art has been seeking new approaches that cross all artistic fields. In the portuguese context that reality is also valid, be it in specialized artistic teaching or in higher education. Thus, the training of future dancers should follow the artistic professional market, in particular, the new conceptions of contemporary choreography and new ideas of bodies and their performance potential. To sum up, it is intended to value the uniqueness of the teachers of Contemporary Dance Techniques; to assert plural practices in the same scope, from a relationship of sharing between teachers, by allowing the contact of students with present times, current in the professional artistic panorama of contemporary dance. |
