Resumo: This work adresses the themes of distance learning, remote education and hybrid education, combined with the resources of digital technologies. Our objective was to discuss the educational alternatives adopted by governments to minimize the education impacts / damage provoked by the suspension of face-to-face classes, in the period of social isolation occured during the pandemic of the new coronavirus – Covid-19. We believe that the physical presence of students and teachers in the classroom is essential for the teaching-learning process and, therefore, non face-to-face teaching should be an option only in specific contexts and, exceptionally, as in this moment that Brazil and the world is going through.

Nosso objetivo foi discutir as alternativas educacionais adotadas pelos governos para minimizar os impactos/prejuízos educacionais provocados pela suspensão de aulas presenciais, no período de isolamento social ocorrido durante a pandemia do novo coronavírus – Covid-19.
