Resumo: The present work emerged from the experiences of academics of the Pedagogy course at the State University of Vale do Acaraú - UVA, in the discipline of Supervised Internship in Educational Management, taught by Professor Lídia Azevedo, which took place in December 2020 remotely due to the scenario of pandemic. The aforementioned was developed in a public school in the city of Sobral - CE. We sought to understand the challenges of the practice of educational management in this period of pandemic, since school activities are being carried out remotely, bringing the various difficulties for the performance of the management nucleus, especially when dealing with democratic management. The methodological path used was a qualitative, bibliographical field research, through an experience report. With this, from the supervised internship, the importance of the educator is always looking to reinvent himself in his profession as a researcher, thus improving his performance.

This was developed in a school of the Public Network of the Municipality of Sobral - CE. It aims to highlight the performance of democratic educational management in the pandemic period, since the teaching activities are being carried out remotely, thus bringing several difficulties and barriers to the performance of the management center, especially when dealing with democratic management. From this premise arises the following question: what are the challenges faced by management in the academic period? Since this work has as a methodological path a qualitative research, field bibliographic,through an experience reportO presente trabalho surgiu a partir das experiências de acadêmicos do curso de Pedagogia da Universidade Estadual Vale do Acaraú - UVA, na disciplina de Estágio supervisionado em gestão educacional, ministrado pela professora Doutora Lídia Azevedo, ocorrido em dezembro de 2020 de forma remota devido ao cenário de pandemia. O referido foi desenvolvido em uma escola da Rede pública do Município de Sobral - CE. Buscou-se compreender os desafios da prática da gestão educacional nesse período de pandemia, visto que, as atividades letivas estão sendo realizadas de forma remota, trazendo as diversas dificuldades para a atuação do núcleo gestor, principalmente quando tratamos de uma gestão democrática. O caminho metodológico utilizado foi uma pesquisa qualitativa, bibliográfica de campo, por meio de um relato de experiência.
