Resumo: The remote teaching adopted in Brazilian education due to the pandemic context, allowed a portion of students to continue teaching. However, the rush to put it into effect made it impossible to plan appropriately to consider the numerous specificities of teaching, the social and economic reality of the subjects, which caused several problems for students and teachers. The article aims to present the difficulties in elementary school II in a 6-year class during the remote period in geography classes. The results found consider that remote learning is a strategy for following up classes considering the pandemic scenario, however, it worsened the quality of education and highlighted the inequalities of thousands of young people, who do not have the necessary technological devices, thus evidencing daily and future difficulties in the educational system.

Entretanto a pressa em sua efetivação inviabilizou planejamentos adequados para considerar as inúmeras especificidades do ensino, realidade social e econômicas dos sujeitos, o que ocasionou várias problemáticas para discentes e docentes. O artigo objetiva apresentar as dificuldades no ensino fundamental II em uma turma do 6 ano durante o período remoto nas aulas de geografia.
