Resumo: | Current article briefly discusses issues related to the devaluation of teaching (and consequent crisis in teachers´ education programs in Brazil) and to some government initiatives including Higher Education Institutions and Public Policies, to valorize the teaching profession and overcome crises. Based on the Program for Teaching Education, organized by a University of the Greater São Paulo, Brazil, and on the author’s experience in PIBID (Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação à Docência – Institutional Scholarship for New Teachers), the essay provides the positive impacts, contradictions and some considerations on its implementation foregrounded on the written record of teachers´ testimonials on the Program. |

El texto presenta un breve panorama de las cuestiones relativas a la pérdida de valor del magisterio (y la consecuente crisis de las licenciaturas) y de algunas iniciativas en el sentido de su superación, en el ámbito de las Instituciones de Enseñanza Superior y de las Políticas Públicas de valoración del Magisterio, dirigidas a la formación docente en este nivel de Enseñanza. A partir de la experiencia inicial de la implantación del PIBID (Programa Institucional de Becas de Inicio ala Docencia) propuesta por una Universidad dela Gran São Paulo, este artículo señala los impactos positivos, contradicciones y reflexiones iniciales sobre su implantación, teniendo como material de análisis el registro escrito de los relatos de profesores que participan del Programa mencionado. O texto apresenta um breve panorama das questões relativas à desvalorização do magistério (e a consequente crise das licenciaturas) e de algumas iniciativas no sentido de sua superação, no âmbito das Instituições de Ensino Superior e das Políticas Públicas de valorização do Magistério, voltadas a formação docente neste nível de Ensino. A partir da experiência inicial da implantação do PIBID (Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação à Docência) proposta por uma Universidade da Grande São Paulo, este artigo aponta os impactos positivos, contradições e reflexões iniciais sobre sua implantação, tendo como material de análise o registro escrito dos depoimentos de professores que participam do referido Programa.
