PEDAGOGICAL MEDIATION AND DIDACTIC TRANSPOSITION IN DISTANCE PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION IN BRAZIL: state of knowledge

Resumo: | The offering of professional education courses in the distance learning modality has grown rapidly in Brazil. Characterized by the possibility of studying at any time and in any place, this format is mostly sought by those who do not have the time or money to attend classrooms, usually young workers. Apparently beneficial, these offerings need to be monitored and analyzed carefully, since their pedagogical characteristics have a direct impact on the teaching and learning process and, consequently, on the training received by the worker. This study aims to describe and systematize the knowledge about pedagogical mediation and didactic transposition in distance learning professional education in Brazil. To accomplish it, initially five relevant Brazilian scientific journals in the areas of Professional Education and Work, and Education were selected. In them, a search was undertaken for scientific articles, published between 2017 and 2021, which contained the keywords “transposition”, “mediation”, “professional” and “distance”. The abstracts of the nineteen results found were read, in order to determine the real correspondence with the present object of study. The three resulting articles were read in full and submitted to analysis regarding the delimited concepts. The development of this work, throughout the month of April 2022, resulted in the perception that it is necessary to strengthen research in the area, since the few existing studies do not allow for a more precise analysis of how the concepts of pedagogical mediation and didactic transposition are addressed in the scope of Professional Education at distance learning. |

Caracterizado por la posibilidad de estudiar en cualquier momento y en cualquier lugar, este formato es el más buscado especialmente por aquellos que no tienen tempo o dinero para asistir a las aulas, por lo general los trabajadores jóvenes. Aparentemente beneficiosas, estas ofertas necesitan ser cuidadosamente monitoreadas y analizadas, ya que su característica pedagógica tiene un impacto directo en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje y, consecuentemente, en la formación recibida por el trabajador. Este estudio tiene como objetivo describir y sistematizar el conocimiento sobre la mediación pedagógica y la transposición didáctica en la formación profesional a distancia en Brasil. Para ello, se seleccionaron cinco revistas científicas brasileñas relevantes de las áreas de Educación Profesional y Trabajo y Educación. En ellos, se realizó una búsqueda por artículos científicos, publicados entre 2017 y 2021, que contuvieran las palabras clave “transposición”, “mediación”, “profesional” y “distancia”. Los resúmenes de los diecinueve resultados encontrados fueron leídos con el propósito de determinar la real correspondência con el presente objeto de estudio. Los tres artículos resultantes fueron leídos en su totalidade y analizados de acuerdo con los conceptos definidos. La realización de este trabajo, durante el mes de abril de 2022, trajo como resultado la percepción de que es necesario fortalecer la investigación en el área, ya que los pocos estudios existentes no permiten un análisis más preciso sobre cómo los conceptos de mediación pedagógica y transposición didáctica son abordados en el contexto de la educación profesional a distancia.A oferta de cursos de formação profissional na modalidade a distância tem crescido rapidamente no Brasil. Caracterizado pela possibilidade de estudar a qualquer tempo e em qualquer lugar, esse formato é mais procurado principalmente por aqueles que não dispõem de tempo ou dinheiro para frequentar as salas de aula, normalmente, jovens trabalhadores. Aparentemente benéficas, essas ofertas precisam ser acompanhadas e analisadas com cuidado, uma vez que sua característica pedagógica tem impacto direto no processo de ensino e aprendizagem e, consequentemente, na formação recebida pelo trabalhador. Este estudo tem o objetivo de descrever e sistematizar o conhecimento acerca da mediação pedagógica e da transposição didática na Educação Profissional a distância no Brasil. Para realizá-lo, selecionamos cinco relevantes periódicos científicos brasileiros das áreas de Educação Profissional e Trabalho e Educação. Neles, foi empreendida uma busca por artigos científicos, publicados entre 2017 e 2021, os quais contivessem as palavras-chave “transposição”, “mediação”, “profissional” e “distância”. Os resumos dos dezenove resultados encontrados foram lidos, de maneira a determinar a real correspondência com o presente objeto de estudo. Os três artigos resultantes foram lidos na íntegra e submetidos à análise quanto aos conceitos delimitados.
