Resumo: | Educational digital games can benefit the pedagogical action and provide subsidies for the reading and writing process. Thus, this article aims to investigate the contributions of the educational application "Spelling" in the reading and writing process of children in the 5th grade of elementary school in a public school in the city of Manaus - AM. The research had a qualitative approach, carried out through a pedagogical intervention, with students who had difficulties in reading and writing. The result obtained, with the digital game “Soletrando”, was that it can facilitate the interest of students and improve the results in the reading and writing process in a playful and fun way. Therefore, it is clear the importance of the teacher to mediate the insertion of software in the teaching and learning process, through dynamic didactics in the classroom and in other educational environments. The need for investment in continuing education for teachers, implementation of digital technologies and connectivity to all schools in Brazil is evident, which is still a utopia, especially in the periphery of the Amazonian capital and in the interior of the state. |
