Educational workshops as a methodology in the teaching-learning process: construction and practices

Resumo: This work had as its object of study popular education and educational workshops as a teaching-learning methodology, describing them from their construction to practice, thus aiming to present the methodological model of the workshops based on Freire’s perspectives and analyzed, the from the historical-ideological point of view of the trajectory of popular education in Brazil. The analysis of the author’s experience report together with the Coletivo Raiz Popular is the tool for discussing the theme together with the knowledge raised by authors of great academic relevance, such as Paulo Freire, Vygotsky, among others. The conclusion points to methodology as a tool of liberating education, proponent of dialogue as a fundamental device of methodology, horizontal relationships and the search for critical awareness of the assets involved.

El análisis del relato de experiencia del autor junto con el Coletivo Raiz Popular es la herramienta para discutir el tema junto con los conocimientos planteados por autores de gran relevancia académica, como Paulo Freire, Vygotsky, entre otros. La conclusión apunta a la metodología como herramienta de educación liberadora, proponente del diálogo como dispositivo fundamental de la metodología, las relaciones horizontales y la búsqueda de la conciencia crítica de los activos involucrados.Este trabalho teve como objeto de estudo a educação popular e as oficinas educativas como metodologia de ensino-aprendizagem, descrevendo-as desde a sua construção até a prática, objetivando, assim, apresentar o modelo metodológico das oficinas pautado em perspectivas freireanas e analisado a partir do ponto de vista histórico-ideológico da trajetória da educação popular no Brasil. A análise sobre o relato de experiência do autor em conjunto com o Coletivo Raiz Popular é a ferramenta de discussão do tema em conjunto com os saberes levantados por autores de grande relevância acadêmica, como Paulo Freire, Vygotsky, entre outros.
