REFLECTIONS ON THE TEACHING INTERNSHIP AS A TRAINING INSTRUMENT FOR UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR

Resumo: | Introduction: Teacher education is a dynamic process that must be composed of practical and theoretical experiences in preparing students to teach. Thus, understanding the reflections on the internship in assisted teaching in this scenario are essential in debates and discussions on this topic. Objective: To reflect on the experiences of a master's student during activities carried out in his assisted teaching internship, which took place in the second half of 2022, in the subject of Fundamentals in epidemiology and public health of the Graduation course in Physiotherapy at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). Methodology: This is a descriptive study, of the experience report type, prepared by a master's student of the Postgraduate course in Physiotherapy at UFRN. Results: The stages of the experience were demonstrated and reported, as well as some reflections regarding the perspectives, learning and desires from the perspective of the graduate student, based on the scientific literature on the subject. The results of this study clarify that the contributions of this experience were of paramount importance for the academic and professional development of the master's student, however, the character of this experience manifests itself in a complementary way, thus demonstrating the relevance of the insertion or reformulation of curricular elements that provide the development of a more in-depth experience between the theoretical-practical arrangement in preparing students to teach in higher education. Conclusions: The assisted teaching internship is an important and unique training tool in building the student's professional and personal experiences even in an academic environment. |

Así, comprender las reflexiones sobre la pasantía en la docencia asistida en este escenario son esenciales en los debates y discusiones sobre este tema. Objetivo: Reflexionar sobre las vivencias de un estudiante de maestría durante las actividades realizadas en su internado docente asistido, que se desarrolló en el segundo semestre de 2022, en la materia de Fundamentos en epidemiología y salud pública de la Licenciatura en Fisioterapia de la Universidad Federal Universidad de Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). Metodología: Se trata de un estudio descriptivo, del tipo relato de experiencia, elaborado por una estudiante de maestría del Posgrado en Fisioterapia de la UFRN. Resultados: Se demostraron y relataron las etapas de la experiencia, así como algunas reflexiones sobre las perspectivas, aprendizajes y deseos desde la perspectiva del estudiante de posgrado, a partir de la literatura científica sobre el tema. Los resultados de este estudio aclaran que los aportes de esta experiencia fueron de suma importancia para el desarrollo académico y profesional del estudiante de maestría, sin embargo, el carácter de esta experiencia se manifiesta de manera complementaria, demostrando así la pertinencia de la inserción o reformulación. de elementos curriculares que propicien el desarrollo de una experiencia más profunda entre el arreglo teórico-práctico en la preparación de los estudiantes para ejercer la docencia en la educación superior. Conclusiones: La pasantía docente asistida es una importante y única herramienta formativa en la construcción de las experiencias profesionales y personales del estudiante aún en un ambiente académico.Introdução: A formação de professores é um processo dinâmico que deve ser composto por experiências práticas e teóricas no preparo do discente ao magistério. Desse modo, a compreensão das reflexões relativas ao estágio em docência assistida no âmbito do ensino superior é de suma importância para enriquecer os debates e discussões acerca do papel do estágio em docência como ferramenta formativa do professor universitário. Objetivo: Refletir sobre as experiências vivenciadas durante atividades desenvolvidas no estágio de docência assistida e a importância para a formação pedagógica no ensino superior. Metodologia: Trata-se de um relato de experiência do estágio em docência decorrido no segundo semestre de 2022, na disciplina de Fundamentos em epidemiologia e saúde pública do curso de Graduação em Fisioterapia da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte. Resultados: No presente estudo, foram descritas e analisadas as etapas da experiência do estágio em docência, enfocando as perspectivas, aprendizados e aspirações sob a ótica da literatura científica sobre o papel formativo do estágio para o professor universitário. Os resultados obtidos evidenciam a significância das contribuições dessa vivência para o crescimento acadêmico e profissional dos mestrandos. No entanto, salienta-se a necessidade de incorporar ou revisar elementos curriculares, visando promover uma integração mais aprofundada entre as dimensões teóricas e práticas no preparo dos alunos para a docência no ensino superior. Conclusões: O estágio de docência assistida representa uma ferramenta formativa de suma importância, singular e enriquecedora na construção das experiências profissionais e pessoais na formação de professores.
