Resumo: The aim of the study was to analyze the satisfaction of Physical Education undergraduate students from a public university of the state of Santa Catarina / Brazil with their academic experiences, considering their personal, academic, and professional characteristics. The instrument used for data collection was the Scale of Satisfaction with Academic Experiences. Statistical treatment was performed using both descriptive (simple and percentage frequencies) and inferential procedures (Chi-square test), with a significance level of 5%. Results revealed high levels of overall satisfaction with the course, institution, and development opportunities. There was a statistically significant association between general satisfaction and the course stage. Overall, the dimension ‘satisfaction with the course’ presented the highest percentages of high satisfaction, while the dimension ‘development opportunities’ presented the lowest percentages of high satisfaction.

El instrumento utilizado fue la Escala de Satisfacción con las Experiencias Académicas. El análisis estadístico se realizó mediante procedimientos descriptivos (frecuencia simples y porcentaje) y inferenciales (prueba de chi-cuadrado), adoptando un nivel de significación de 5%. Los resultados revelaron altos niveles de satisfacción general con el curso, con la institución y con las oportunidades de desarrollo. Se observó asociación estadísticamente significativa entre la satisfacción general y la etapa del curso. En general, la dimensión ‘satisfacción con el curso’ presentó los mayores porcentajes de alta satisfacción, mientras que la dimensión ‘oportunidades de desarrollo’ tuvo los menores niveles de alta satisfacción.O objetivo do estudo foi analisar a satisfação de estudantes de Educação Física de uma universidade pública do estado de Santa Catarina/Brasil com suas experiências acadêmicas, considerando suas características pessoais, acadêmicas e profissionais.  O instrumento utilizado foi a Escala de Satisfação com as Experiências Acadêmicas. O  tratamento estatístico foi realizado a partir de procedimentos descritivos (frequência simples e percentual) e inferenciais (teste qui-quadrado), adotando-se nível de significância de 5%. Os resultados revelaram elevados níveis de satisfação geral com o curso, com a instituição e com as oportunidades de desenvolvimento. Observou-se associação estatisticamente significativa entre a satisfação geral e a etapa do curso.
