Resumo: The present research is characterized by being a theoretical reflection derived from a pedagogical experience. In this way, it presents as its main object of reflection the investigation of how the children, from Early Childhood Education of the Federal University of Pará (EAUFPA) Application School, produce understanding about the game in the Physical Education classes. Through the action research methodology and the documentation technique used to interpret the data obtained in the registration activity, we indicate that children understand the game from terms such as; rules, fun, strategy, togetherness, cooperation, respect and happiness.

De esta manera, presenta como principal objeto de su reflexión la forma como los niños de Educación Infantil de la Escuela de Aplicación de la Universidad Federal de Pará (EAUFPA) producen comprensión sobre el juego en las clases de Educación Física. Por medio de la metodología de investigación-acción y la técnica de documentación utilizada para la interpretación de los datos obtenidos en la actividad de registro, indicamos que los niños entienden el juego a partir de términos tales como; reglas, diversión, estrategia, unidad, cooperación, respeto y felicidad.A presente pesquisa se caracteriza por ser uma reflexão teórica oriunda de uma experiência pedagógica. Desse modo, apresenta como objeto principal de sua reflexão a investigação do modo como as crianças da Educação Infantil da Escola de Aplicação da Universidade Federal do Pará (EAUFPA) produzem compreensão a respeito do jogo nas aulas de Educação Física.
