Impactos da Covid-19 na frequência de estudantes em uma escola de educação básica em Arapiraca-AL

Resumo: | Since the establishment and spread of the new coronavirus that emerged in China at the end of 2019, schools have closed and remote learning has emerged as a temporary tool to minimize the effects of the pandemic on the educational system. However, there was a deficit regarding student participation in online classes, as a result of this, the present study aimed to present the low attendance of high school students during remote classes in two consecutive bimesters at Escola Estadual de Educação Básica Costa Rêgo, in Arapiraca- AL. The methodology used was of the quantitative investigative type, based on a semi-structured questionnaire prepared through the Google Forms platform and made available for students to respond in the WhatsApp group created by the teacher and preceptor of the Pedagogical Residence Program-RP, for the communication with the classes object of this study. In addition, data was collected from students duly enrolled in the partner school through the Management System of the State of Alagoas-SAGEAL, evaluating the presence of students during remote classes in the two initial academic bimesters between the months of March to July. of 2021. Therefore, it was noted that the low attendance of students during classes was an aggravating factor due to certain circumstances arising from the social context of the students, with certain impasses being pointed out, highlighting the professional work activities carried out at the same time as classes, as well as the difficulty of learning through the methodologies used. |

Entretanto, houve um déficit quanto a participação dos estudantes na aula online, decorrente disto, o presente estudo objetivou relatar a baixa frequência e as justificativas da ausência estudantil durante as aulas remotas em dois bimestres subsequentes em uma escola pública da rede estadual de Arapiraca-AL, parceira do Programa Residência Pedagógica. A metodologia utilizada foi do tipo investigativa quantitativa, tendo como instrumento de coleta de informações, um questionário elaborado através da plataforma Google Forms e uma coleta de dados dos alunos devidamente matriculados na escola onde foram desenvolvidas as atividades do RP através do Sistema de Gestão do Estado de Alagoas-SAGEAL, avaliando a presença dos estudantes durante as aulas remotas nos dois bimestres letivos iniciais entre os meses de março a julho de 2021. Portanto, notou-se que a baixa frequência dos estudantes durante as aulas foi um agravante decorrente de determinadas circunstâncias oriundas do contexto social dos alunos, sendo apontados certos impasses destacando-se as atividades profissionais de trabalho desenvolvidas no mesmo horário das aulas, assim como, a dificuldade de aprendizado mediante as metodologias utilizadas.
