TEACHING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF EXPERIENCED TEACHERS: : BARRIERS AND INVESTMENTS

Resumo: | This work, part of a doctoral research, guided by a qualitative approach, focuses on the professional development of experienced teachers inserted in a training process made possible by the Teaching Learning and Development Network (XXXX), in the 2nd S/2017 and 1st, 2nd/2018. For the writing of this article, we analyzed the narratives produced during the training offered in the mentioned period. The results show that the participants are faced with major challenges to develop their teaching work and invest in their professional development. However, even with the unfavorable conditions and work, they find the time and willingness to remain in the training process through individual studies, participation in courses and completion of second graduation, specialization and post-graduation. Given these facts, we understand that training programs need to take into account the training needs of teaching and the implications that work has on the teacher's personal/family life, contributing to the acquisition of new knowledge, and helping to overcome barriers to invest in their professional development. |

Para la redacción de este artículo, analizamos las narrativas producidas durante la formación ofrecida en el período mencionado. Los resultados muestran que los participantes se enfrentan a grandes desafíos para desarrollar su labor docente e invertir en su desarrollo profesional. Sin embargo, aún con las condiciones y el trabajo desfavorables, encuentran el tiempo y la disposición para permanecer en el proceso de formación a través de estudios individuales, participación en cursos y realización de segundo grado, especialización y posgrado. Ante estos hechos, entendemos que los programas de formación deben tener en cuenta las necesidades formativas de la docencia y las implicaciones que tiene el trabajo en la vida personal/familiar del docente, contribuyendo a la adquisición de nuevos conocimientos, y ayudando a superar las barreras para invertir invertir en su desarrollo profesional.Este trabalho, recorte de uma pesquisa de doutorado, norteada na abordagem qualitativa, focaliza o desenvolvimento profissional de professoras experientes inseridas num processo formativo viabilizado pela Rede de Aprendizagem e Desenvolvimento da Docência (ReAD), no 2ºS/2017 e 1º, 2º/2018[1]. Para a escrita deste artigo, analisamos as narrativas produzidas no decorrer da formação ofertada no período citado. Os resultados evidenciam que, as participantes se deparam com grandes desafios para desenvolver o trabalho docente e investirem em seu desenvolvimento profissional. Contudo, mesmo com as condições e trabalho desfavoráveis, elas encontram tempo e disposição para manter-se em processo de formação por meio de estudos individuais, participação em cursos e realização de segunda graduação, especialização e pós-graduação. Diante desses fatos, compreendemos que os programas de formação precisam levar em conta as necessidades formativas da docência em diferentes fases da carreira e as implicações que o trabalho tem na vida pessoal/familiar dos professores, contribuindo para à aquisição de novos conhecimentos, e no auxílio na superação dos entraves para investirem no próprio desenvolvimento profissional.
