The use of geogebra in the resolution and graphic interpretation of numerical sequences in na olympic context

Resumo: | The COVID-19 pandemic caused a major change in the world's educational system and classes were no longer presential and now remote. In this context, it was necessary to resort to possible technological resources. Thus, the aim of this article was to present the GeoGebra software as a pedagogical resource for the graphical interpretation of arithmetic and geometric progressions. The research was carried out from an experiment with students from two high school classes subsidized by the Didactic Engineering Methodology, according to its four phases: preliminary analysis, a priori analysis, experimentation and a posteriori analysis and validation. There was a difficulty in understanding the basic concepts of sequences and operations related to mathematical calculations and that the mediation of the researcher teacher played a fundamental role in the development of the resolution of the Olympic Problem (OP). It was also found that the students approved the use of GeoGebra and that it contributed significantly to the understanding of the content. It was considered that the use of the software opens possibilities for a better interaction between the subjects, in addition to facilitating the geometric understanding of the content being worked on. |

En este contexto, fue necesario recurrir a posibles recursos tecnológicos. Así, el objetivo de este artículo fue presentar el software GeoGebra como recurso pedagógico para la interpretación gráfica de progresiones aritméticas y geométricas. La investigación se realizó a partir de un experimento con estudiantes de dos aulas de secundaria subvencionadas por la Metodología de la Ingeniería Didáctica, según sus cuatro fases: análisis preliminar, análisis a priori, experimentación y análisis y validación a posteriori. Hubo dificultad para comprender los conceptos básicos de secuencias y operaciones relacionados con los cálculos matemáticos y que la mediación del docente investigador jugó un papel fundamental en el desarrollo de la resolución del Problema Olímpico (OP). También se encontró que los estudiantes aprobaron el uso de GeoGebra y que contribuyó significativamente a la comprensión del contenido. Se consideró que el uso del software abre posibilidades para una mejor interacción entre los sujetos, además de facilitar la comprensión geométrica del contenido que se trabaja.A pandemia de COVID-19 causou uma grande mudança no sistema educacional mundial e as aulas deixaram de ser presenciais e passaram a ser remotas. Nesse contexto foi preciso recorrer a recursos tecnológicos possíveis. Assim, o objetivo deste artigo foi apresentar o software GeoGebra como um recurso pedagógico para a interpretação gráfica das progressões aritméticas e geométricas. A pesquisa foi realizada a partir de um experimento com estudantes de duas turmas de ensino médio subsidiada pela Metodologia Engenharia Didática, de acordo com suas quatro fases: análises preliminares, análises a priori, experimentação e análises a posteriori e validação. Observou-se uma dificuldade em compreender os conceitos básicos das sequências e das operações relativas aos cálculos matemáticos e que a mediação do professor pesquisador teve papel fundamental para o desenvolvimento da resolução do Problema Olímpico (PO). Constatou-se também que os estudantes aprovaram o uso do GeoGebra e que este contribuiu de forma significativa para a compreensão do conteúdo. Considerou-se que o uso do software abre possibilidades para uma melhor interação entre os sujeitos, além de facilitar a compreensão geométrica do conteúdo trabalhado.
