Educational technologies and health education: management of central venous catheters by nurses

Resumo: Objectives: Identify and analyze educational technology models aimed at the management of central venous catheters in terms of type, target audience and validation. Method: The study is an integrative literature review, carried out in November and December 2021, with a search through the VHL platform, using the MEDLINE, BDENF and LILACS databases, applying the descriptors educational technology, care of nursing, nursing care and health education, using the Boolean operator “AND”, 19 articles were selected in the databases. Results: After analyzing the articles, four categories were created: Educational Technologies in Health Education for Nursing Professionals; Educational Technologies in Health Education for Target Audiences; Challenges in the Development of Educational Technology; Validation of Educational Technology. Conclusion: The applicability of educational technologies becomes relevant, providing a higher quality in teaching professionals and safer care for patients and their families, therefore, further studies related to educational technologies in the health area are necessary.

Método: El estudio es una revisión integrativa de la literatura, realizada en noviembre y diciembre de 2021, con búsqueda a través de la plataforma de la BVS, utilizando las bases de datos MEDLINE, BDENF y LILACS, aplicando los descriptores tecnología educativa, cuidado de enfermería, cuidado de enfermería y educación en salud, utilizando el operador booleano “AND”, se seleccionaron 19 artículos en las bases de datos. Resultados: Después del análisis de los artículos, fueron creadas cuatro categorías: Tecnologías Educativas en Educación en Salud para Profesionales de Enfermería; Tecnologías Educativas en Educación en Salud para Públicos Objetivo; Desafíos en el Desarrollo de la Tecnología Educativa; Validación de Tecnología Educativa. Conclusión: La aplicabilidad de las tecnologías educativas cobra relevancia, proporcionando una mayor calidad en la enseñanza de los profesionales y una atención más segura a los pacientes y sus familias, por lo que se hacen necesarios más estudios relacionados con las tecnologías educativas en el área de la salud.Objetivos: Identificar e analisar os modelos de tecnologias educacionais voltados para o manejo de cateteres venosos centrais quanto ao tipo, público-alvo e validação. Método: O estudo trata-se de uma revisão integrativa de literatura, realizado nos meses de novembro e dezembro de 2021, com a busca através da plataforma BVS, utilizando as bases de dados MEDLINE, BDENF e LILACS, aplicando os descritores tecnologia educacional, cuidados de enfermagem, assistência de enfermagem e educação em saúde, utilizando o operador booleano “AND” sendo selecionados 19 artigos, nas bases de dados. Resultados: Após análise dos artigos foram originadas quatro categorias: Tecnologias Educacionais na Educação em Saúde dos Profissionais de Enfermagem; Tecnologias Educacionais na Educação em Saúde de Público-Alvo; Desafios na Elaboração da Tecnologia Educacional; Validação da Tecnologia Educacional.
