Main challenges in Nursing teaching: a systematic review of literature

Resumo: | Nursing teaching has been facing several difficulties that have generated negative impacts for both the teacher and the student. This study aims to communicate the results of a consolidated analysis of data obtained in the 1st and 2nd stages of a systematic literature review, in which the main challenges of nursing teacher education in the last 15 years were investigated. This is a qualitative approach research with systematization of data called 'State of Art', contemplating the foundations of Discursive Textual Analysis for data analysis. The survey of papers with Qualis stratification A1, A2, B1 and B2 was performed in the Nursing Evaluation Area. In total 12 journals and 23 papers were found covering the theme Nursing Teaching. The main challenges observed were the lack of pedagogical preparation of the nurse teacher during and after graduation, their difficulty in re-elaborating their teaching methodologies and relying on the traditional curriculum rather than the integrated curriculum. It is suggested that the Higher Education Institutions that offer undergraduate Nursing courses, in addition to providing training for nurses in care, provide pedagogical training through disciplines focused on teaching. |

El presente estudio tiene como propósito mostrar los resultados del análisis consolidado a partir de los datos alcanzados en la 1° y 2° etapa de una revisión sistemática de literatura. En estas, fueron investigados los principales desafíos de la formación decente en enfermería en los últimos 15 años. Se trata de una investigación cualitativa con sistematizacion de datos denominada ‘Estado del Arte’ contemplando los fundamentos del Análisis Textual Discursivo (ATD) para el análisis de los datos.Fue realizado un levantamiento de artículos con estratificación Qualis A1, A2, B1 y B2 en el Área de evaluación en enfermería. En total fueron encontrados 12 periódicos y 23 artículos cubriendo el tema Docencia en Enfermería. Los principales desafíos observados fueron, la falta de preparación pedagógica del enfermero docente durante y después de su graduación. Su dificultad en reelaborar medodologias de enseñanza y, fundamentarse en el currículo tradicional, en vez del currículo integrado. Se orienta por tal motivo a las instituciones de educación superior que ofrecen cursos de pre-grado en enfermería, que mejoren además de su capacitación para la actuación del sujeto en cuestión, la asistencia, en la captación pedagógica por medio de disciplinas orientadas a la docencia.A docência na Enfermagem vem enfrentando diversas dificuldades o que tem gerado impactos negativos, tanto para o docente quanto para o discente. Este estudo objetiva comunicar os resultados de uma análise consolidada dos dados obtidos na 1º e 2º etapas de uma revisão sistemática da literatura, nas quais foram investigados os principais desafios da formação docente em Enfermagem nos últimos 15 anos. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa com sistematização de dados denominada ‘Estado da Arte’, contemplando os fundamentos da Análise Textual Discursiva (ATD) para análise dos dados. Foi realizado o levantamento de artigos com estratificação Qualis A1, A2, B1 e B2 na Área de Avaliação em Enfermagem. No total foram encontrados 12 periódicos e 23 artigos abrangendo o tema Docência em Enfermagem. Os principais desafios observados foram a falta de preparação pedagógica do enfermeiro docente durante e após a graduação, sua dificuldade em reelaborar suas metodologias de ensino e, basear-se no currículo tradicional ao invés do currículo integrado.
