Case study with Neuropsychopedagogical interventions: stimulating cognitive possibilities

Resumo: Neuropsychopedagogy is seen as a nuance of neuroscience that has great importance for enhancing learning. This work is a case study carried out through an internship in a neuropsychopedagogy course with a child with Cerebral Palsy based on neuropsychopedagogical interventions. The objective of this is to analyze the cognitive emotions in the patient and the possibilities of cognitive development considering the concepts of brain plasticity. Five interventions (projective and psychometric activities) were planned and applied. The data were analyzed based on Yin's literature (2003), which presents specific plans and methods for case studies. At the end of the study it was concluded that the sooner the interventions aimed at learning in children with cerebral palsy begin, the greater the plasticity of brain function, as a benefit in the exploration and cognitive development of these patients.

Este trabajo es un estudio de caso realizado a través de una pasantía en un curso de neuropsicopedagogía con un niño con parálisis cerebral basado en intervenciones neuropsicopedagógicas. El objetivo de esto es analizar las emociones cognitivas en el paciente y las posibilidades de desarrollo cognitivo considerando los conceptos de plasticidad cerebral. Se planificaron y aplicaron cinco intervenciones (actividades proyectivas y psicométricas). Los datos se analizaron en base a la literatura de Yin (2003), que presenta planes y métodos específicos para estudios de casos. Al final del estudio, se concluyó que cuanto antes comiencen las intervenciones dirigidas al aprendizaje en niños con parálisis cerebral, mayor será la plasticidad de la función cerebral, como un beneficio en la exploración y el desarrollo cognitivo de estos pacientes.A neuropsicopedagogia é vista como um nuance da neurociência que tem grande importância para potencialização da aprendizagem. Este trabalho é um estudo de caso realizado através de estágio em um curso de neuropsicopedagogia com uma criança com Paralisia Cerebral a partir de intervenções neuropsicopedagógicas. O objetivo deste é analisar as emoções cognitivas no paciente e as possibilidades de desenvolvimento cognitivo considerando os conceitos da plasticidade cerebral. Foram planejadas e aplicadas cinco intervenções (atividades projetivas e psicométricas). Os dados foram analisados com base na literatura de Yin (2003), que apresenta planejamentos e métodos específicos para estudos de caso.
