Resumo: In this article we aim to analyze the Science at School Program (PCE) as a continuing education for teachers and a program to encourage scientific initiation in the Amazon context. We intend to announce the advances, setbacks, challenges and possibilities with regard to the PCE since its offer and implementation, focusing specifically on schools linked to the Department of Education and Teaching Quality of the State of Amazonas at the current juncture. Based on a critical-reflexive perspective, we place the debate in the field of teacher researcher theory as the need for research to be part of the teaching work, articulating with broader issues that consider solid training as the right of the education professional, indispensable for the professional development of teachers , relating it to the advancement of Scientific Education in the State of Amazonas and the scope of the peasant reality in this process. The study is the result of theoretical and documentary research, based on the survey of notices and selection processes in the last three years, as well as a critical analysis of the real participation of rural school projects in this process and the inclusion of fields in transformative practices.

También se observaron los avances, retrocesos, desafíos y posibilidades del PCE desde su formulación e implementación, dirigiéndose específicamente a las escuelas rurales vinculadas al Departamento de Educación y Calidad Docente del Estado Amazonas en la situación actual. A partir de una perspectiva crítico-reflexiva, situamos el debate en el campo de la teoría docente investigadora como una necesidad de que la investigación forme parte de la labor docente, articulándose con cuestiones más amplias que consideran la formación sólida como un derecho de los profesionales de la educación, imprescindible para el docente profesional. desarrollo, relacionándolo con el avance de la Educación Científica en el Estado de Amazonas y el alcance de la realidad campesina en este proceso. El estudio es el resultado de una investigación teórica y documental, basada en el relevamiento de convocatorias y procesos de selección para el trienio 2018-2020, así como un análisis crítico de la participación real de proyectos de escuelas del campo amazónico en este proceso y la inclusión de profesores y estudiantes de campo en prácticas educativas transformadoras.Neste artigo objetivamos analisar o Programa Ciências na Escola (PCE) enquanto formação continuada de professores (as) e programa de incentivo à iniciação científica no contexto amazônico. Pretendemos anunciar os avanços, retrocessos, os desafios e as possibilidades no que concerne o PCE desde a sua formulação e implementação, voltando-nos, especificamente, para as escolas do campo ligadas à Secretaria de Educação e Qualidade de Ensino do Estado do Amazonas na atual conjuntura. Pautada numa perspectiva crítico-reflexiva, situamos o debate no campo da teoria do professor pesquisador como necessidade de a pesquisa fazer parte do trabalho docente, articulando com questões mais amplas que considera uma sólida formação como direito do profissional da educação, indispensável ao desenvolvimento profissional docente, relacionando-o ao avanço da Educação Científica no Estado do Amazonas e a abrangência da realidade campesina neste processo.
