The use of augmented reality applied in teaching

Resumo: Increasing the student's participation in the classroom so that it becomes more productive and that the classes perform more is a challenge for every teacher. In this context, our general objective is to exemplify how the use of Augmented Reality can help in teaching, and for this it was necessary: to present the advantages of the use of Augmented Reality (AR); to exemplify how RA is used in the current media ecosystem; and comment on what is needed to develop didactic materials with the use of three-dimensional technology. The methodology used was exploratory and descriptive, followed by an experiment with a class of students showing the use of this tool as a complement to the explanation of the contents in the classroom. The results show that the augmented reality can transform the use of the cell phone in the classroom, making it a learning tool and we can see that the use of the mobile phone and the AR can be an interesting allies in the student's learning, it is enough to understand about costs and benefits of its use.

En este contexto, nuestro objetivo general es ejemplificar cómo el uso de la Realidad Aumentada puede auxiliar en la enseñanza, y para ello será necesario: presentar las ventajas del uso de la Realidad Aumentada (RA); ejemplificar cómo la RA se utiliza en el ecosistema mediático actual; y comentar lo que es necesario para desarrollar materiales didácticos con el uso de tecnología tridimensional. La metodología utilizada fue exploratoria y descriptiva, seguida de un experimento con una clase de alumnos mostrando el uso de esta herramienta como complemento para la explicación del contenido en el aula. Los resultados muestran que la realidad aumentada puede transformar el uso del celular en el aula, haciéndolo una herramienta de aprendizaje y constatamos que el uso del celular y la RA pueden ser un interesante aliado en el aprendizaje del alumno, basta que se entienda sobre costes y beneficios de su utilización.Aumentar a participação do aluno em sala de aula, para que este se torne mais produtivo e que as aulas rendam mais é um desafio para todo o professor. Neste contexto, nosso objetivo geral é exemplificar como o uso da Realidade Aumentada pode auxiliar no ensino, e, para isto foi será necessário: apresentar as vantagens do uso da Realidade Aumentada (RA); exemplificar como a RA é utilizada no ecossistema midiático atual; e comentar o que é necessário para desenvolver materiais didáticos com o uso de tecnologia tridimensional.  A metodologia utilizada foi exploratória e descritiva, seguida de um experimento com uma turma de alunos mostrando o uso desta ferramenta como complemento para a explicação do conteúdo em sala de aula.
