A review of Brazilian researches that address the teaching of Statistics in Elementary School

Resumo: This article aims to obtain an overview of what has been investigated in Brazilian scientific productions on the Teaching of Statistics in Elementary School published between 2015 and 2020. The methodological procedures followed the assumptions of a bibliographic review. 15 theses and 24 dissertations were identified. Each of the productions organized by themes were presented and described, highlighting the objectives of each set of research and discussing the main results and contributions to the field of knowledge. There was a concern in teacher training, especially in initial training, given that the authors emphasize the existence of a gap with regard to Statistical Education in undergraduate and continuing education courses. It is noticed that there is a growing trend of works that deal with the use of technologies, especially computational, as well as the need to expand studies on official documents and Special Education

Los procedimientos metodológicos siguieron los supuestos de una revisión bibliográfica. Se identificaron 15 tesis y 24 disertaciones. Cada una de las producciones organizadas por temas fueron presentadas y descritas, destacando los objetivos de cada conjunto de investigación y discutiendo los principales resultados y aportes al campo del conocimiento. Existía una preocupación en la formación de los docentes, especialmente en la formación inicial, dado que los autores destacan la existencia de un vacío con respecto a la Educación Estadística en los cursos de pregrado y educación continua. Se advierte que existe una tendencia creciente de trabajos que tratan sobre el uso de tecnologías, especialmente computacionales, así como la necesidad de ampliar los estudios sobre documentos oficiales y Educación EspecialEste artigo tem como objetivo analisar o que é investigado nas produções científicas brasileiras sobre o ensino de Estatística no Ensino Fundamental publicadas entre os anos de 2015 e 2020. Os procedimentos metodológicos seguiram os pressupostos de uma revisão bibliográfica. Identificaram-se 15 teses e 24 dissertações. Foram apresentadas e descritas cada uma das produções organizadas por temas, ressaltando os objetivos de cada conjunto de pesquisas e discutindo os principais resultados e contribuições para o campo de conhecimento. Notou-se a preocupação na formação de professores, principalmente na formação inicial, tendo em vista que os autores ressaltam a existência de uma lacuna no que se refere à Educação Estatística em cursos de licenciatura e de formação continuada.
