SCHOOL PHYSICAL EDUCATION: EPISTEMOLOGICAL CHALLENGES

Resumo: The objective is to present the results of epistemological studies on the physical education production of researchers working in the Northeast region of Brazil. The results of two investigations (2005 and 2017) on the subject of School Physical Education were compared. The results indicate that the predominant theme in 2005 (20%) appears secondary in a new investigation in 2017 (10.14%). Despite being overcome by issues of biodynamic, the school problem remains basic to understand the construction of the scientific field of physical education in Brazil. However, the construction of this scientific field requires a deepening of its nature and its epistemological status.

Fueron comparados los resultados de dos investigaciones (2005 y 2017) sobre el tema de la Educación Física Escolar. Los resultados indican que el tema predominante en 2005 (20%) aparece secundario en una nueva investigación en 2017 (10.14%). A pesar de ser superado por temas de la biodinámica, el problema de la escuela sigue siendo básico para comprender la construcción del campo científico de la educación física en Brasil. Sin embargo, la construcción de este campo científico requiere una profundización sobre su naturaleza y su estatuto epistemológico.O objetivo é apresentar resultados de estudos de caráter epistemológico sobre a produção em educação física de pesquisadores que atuam na região Nordeste do Brasil. Foram comparados resultados de duas pesquisas (2005 e 2017 sobre a temática Educação Física Escolar). Os resultados indicam que a temática predominante em 2005 (20%) aparece secundarizada em nova pesquisa de 2017 (10,14%). Apesar de ser superada por temáticas da biodinâmica, a problemática da Escola segue sendo básica para a compreensão da construção do campo científico da Educação Física no Brasil.
