Resumo: The present work aims to analyze which knowledge proposed by nine undergraduate chemistry courses presupposes curriculum environmentalization in higher education. The research is classified as exploratory, descriptive and documentary, in a qualitative approach, using the technique of content analysis and application of the ACES Network Indicators. Forty-four subjects that presented contents involving the socio-environmental issue were analyzed. The results indicate a gradual process of curricular environmentalization in higher education, both with regard to the inclusion of the environmental dimension (art. 11 of the PNEA) and the approximate alignment to the characteristics proposed by the ACES Network. All nine courses presented curricular components with potential for debate around socio-environmental issues, but structured in a disjunctive epistemological proposal of knowledge, which is not consistent with the necessary complex vision of the multiple causes of socio-environmental problems.

A pesquisa classifica-se como exploratória, descritiva e documental, numa abordagem qualitativa, com uso da técnica de análise de conteúdo e aplicação dos Indicadores da Rede ACES. Foram analisadas 44 disciplinas que apresentaram conteúdos envolvendo a problemática socioambiental. Os resultados indicam um processo paulatino de ambientalização curricular no ensino superior, tanto no que se refere à inclusão da dimensão ambiental (art. 11 da PNEA), quanto ao alinhamento aproximativo às características propostas pela Rede ACES.
