Research in Zoology teaching: a state of knowledge about trends and perspectives in the area

Resumo: | This research sought to present the state of knowledge about the teaching of Zoology, in its various subareas, aiming to outline an overview, trends and main considerations in this field of knowledge. For the construction of the data corpus, articles published in journals between 2006 and 2020 were used, considering the frequency of publications, institution of the author(s), place of development, research procedures, level of teaching worked and sub-area of Zoology. 73 articles were found, with a predominance of publications between 2017 to 2019. The research is mostly concentrated in the Northeast and Southeast regions, in public educational institutions, through interventions, proposals and differentiated didactic sequences. Comparative aspects between the phyla and/or classes of vertebrates and invertebrates predominated in the studies. |

Para la construcción del corpus de datos, se utilizaron artículos publicados en revistas entre 2006 y 2020, considerando la frecuencia de publicaciones, institución del autor(es), lugar de desarrollo, procedimientos de investigación, nivel de enseñanza trabajado y subárea de Zoología. Se encontraron 73 artículos, con predominio de publicaciones entre 2017 a 2019. La investigación se concentra mayoritariamente en las regiones Nordeste y Sudeste, en instituciones educativas públicas, a través de intervenciones, propuestas y secuencias didácticas diferenciadas. En los estudios predominaron los aspectos comparativos entre los filos y/o clases de vertebrados e invertebrados.Esta pesquisa buscou apresentar o estado do conhecimento sobre o ensino de Zoologia, em suas diversas subáreas, visando traçar um panorama, tendências e principais considerações nesse campo do conhecimento. Para a construção do corpus de dados, foram utilizados artigos publicados em periódicos entre 2006 e 2020, considerando a periodicidade das publicações, instituição do(s) autor(es), local de desenvolvimento, procedimentos de pesquisa, nível de ensino trabalhado e subárea da Zoologia. Foram encontrados 73 artigos, com predominância de publicações entre 2017 a 2019. As pesquisas concentram-se, em sua maioria, nas regiões Nordeste e Sudeste, em instituições públicas de ensino, por meio de intervenções, propostas e sequências didáticas diferenciadas.
