Resumo: The theme of the research is the teaching of Biological and Chemical Evolution of Life materialized in Science curriculum documents and the main objective was to analyze the evolutionary knowledge in the Curricular Reference and Special Study Plans (PEE) of the municipal teaching network of Maricá in 2020 and 2021 The research is of a documentary type of qualitative nature. The technique of content analysis was used. The Curriculum Framework is presented in accordance with the BNCC, organized into thematic units and skills. Knowledge of Biological Evolution is observed only in a Study Plan for the eighth year of 2020 and Chemical Evolution of Life was not in them exactly. Evolution is not a cross-cutting theme in the Curriculum Framework and PEE analyzed.

Se utilizó la técnica de análisis de contenido. El Marco Curricular se presenta de acuerdo con la BNCC, organizado en unidades temáticas y competencias. El conocimiento de la Evolución Biológica se observa únicamente en un Plan de Estudios para el octavo año del 2020 y en ellos no estaba precisamente la Evolución Química de la Vida. La evolución no es un tema transversal en el Marco Curricular y el PEE analizado.O tema da pesquisa é o ensino de Evolução Biológica e Química da Vida materializado em documentos curriculares de Ciências e o objetivo principal foi analisar o conhecimento evolutivo no Referencial Curricular e Planos Especiais de Estudos (PEE) da rede municipal de Ensino de Maricá em 2020 e 2021. A pesquisa é do tipo documental de natureza qualitativa. Foi utilizada a técnica de análise de conteúdo. O Referencial Curricular apresenta-se alinhado à BNCC, organizado em unidades temáticas e habilidades. Conhecimentos de Evolução Biológica são abordados somente em um Plano de Estudos para o oitavo ano de 2020 e Evolução Química da Vida não foi neles abordado.
