BNCC Counterpoints for Indigenous School Education

Resumo: | This article focuses on the National Curricular Common Base (BNCC) in order to find out whether this curricular normative meets the principles of the Indigenous School Education (EEI) modality. It is argued that the BNCC, by proposing a standardized curriculum, obliterates the proposal for specific, differentiated, intercultural and bilingual/multilingual education enshrined in the national legal system for the EEI. It is supported by a qualitative approach and resorts to documental research. It is concluded that the BNCC is against a set of legal provisions issued by the Brazilian State from 1988 onwards, notably for removing from indigenous peoples the prerogative of decision-making on the construction of the curriculum and the preparation of teaching materials. |

Se expone que BNCC al proponer un currículo padronizado, oblitera la propuesta de educación específica, diferenciada, intercultural y bilíngue/multilingue prevista en el ordenamiento jurídico nacional para EEI. Se ampara en abordaje cualitativa y recurre a la investigación documental. Se concluye que BNCC está en contramano de un conjunto de dispositivos legales emanados por el Estado Brasileño a partir de 1988, notablemente por retirar de los pueblos indígenas la prerrogativa de la toma de decisión sobre la construcción del currículo y de la preparación de los materiales didácticos.Este artigo debruça-se sobre a Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC) com vistas a localizar se este normativo curricular atende os princípios da modalidade Educação Escolar Indígena (EEI). Argumenta-se que a BNCC, ao propor um currículo padronizado, oblitera a proposta de educação específica, diferenciada, intercultural e bilingue/multilíngue consignada no ordenamento jurídico nacional para a EEI. Ampara-se em abordagem qualitativa e recorre-se à pesquisa documental.
