Resumo: The research aimed to analyze the representations of undergraduate students on the contributions of the Supervised Curricular Internship (SCI) in the Physical Education Degree (EF) course. The data presented here was collected in the second semester of 2018 as part of a survey that followed the ECS of the EF degree for two years at a higher education institution. Based on the qualitative interpretative approach, a case study was carried out, and the techniques used were the document analysis and the interview. The results showed the prevalence of a bureaucratic character in SCI, as well as the absence of moments of reflections on the experiences, which points to a distance between the higher education institution and the school. However, graduates recognize the contributions of SCI in initial training despite the weaknesses and problems presented.

Los datos presentados aquí son parte de una encuesta que siguió al ECS del título EF durante dos años en una institución de educación superior. Este corte analiza los datos recolectados en el segundo semestre de 2018. Con base en el enfoque interpretativo cualitativo se realizó un Estudio de Caso y las técnicas utilizadas fueron el análisis de documentos y la entrevista. Se encontró que en la disciplina ECS prevalece un carácter burocrático, con ausencia de momentos de reflexión sobre las experiencias, lo que apunta a una distancia entre la institución de educación superior y la escuela. Sin embargo, los egresados reconocen los aportes de ECS en la formación inicial a pesar de las debilidades y problemas que presenta.A pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar as representações de licenciandos sobre as contribuições do Estágio Curricular Supervisionado (ECS) no curso de Licenciatura em Educação Física (EF). Os dados apresentados aqui são parte de uma pesquisa que acompanhou o ECS da Licenciatura em EF por dois anos em uma instituição de ensino superior. Este recorte analisa os dados coletados no segundo semestre de 2018. Baseado na abordagem qualitativa interpretativa, realizou-se um estudo de caso, e as técnicas utilizadas foram a análise documental e a entrevista. Constatou-se que, na disciplina ECS, prevalece um caráter burocrático, com a ausência de momentos de reflexões sobre as vivências, o que aponta para um distanciamento entre a instituição de ensino superior formadora e a escola.
